About me
Sound Designer | Music Composer
To tell you a little more about myself, I'm interested by two very distinct worlds: on the one hand, the fascinating worlds offered by video games that drive me to spend my days behind my desk, and on the other, the soundscapes that allow me to roam the city or countryside in search of sound sources.
My favorite games are narrative-driven ones that immerse us in a captivating story with endearing fictional characters. This deep immersion in a narrative universe allows sound design to play a crucial role in enhancing atmosphere, evoking emotions, and guiding the player's experience through evocative and memorable sounds but I also enjoy competitive games such as MOBAs or FPS, where every second counts in intense showdowns. In these games, sound design plays a crucial role by providing crucial information about the environment and opponents' actions, enabling players to react quickly and make strategic decisions in real time. Precise sound effects and dynamic music contribute to maintaining excitement and immersion throughout the match, creating a thrilling and immersive experience that pushes players to give their best to achieve victory.
I also enjoy exploring fictional worlds. I'm a big fan of medieval fantasy, but I enjoy as well science fiction. "Cyberpunk 2077" is one of my favorite worlds, and I particularly enjoyed being immersed in "Detroit: Become Human". When I play, I'm always interested in the design of the sound universe. For example, I can wander around for hours in an open-world game without necessarily completing any main or side quests. In fact, I never use the quick travel function. I prefer to move directly to the various points of interest to make sure I don't miss anything.
On the other hand, what fascinates me about sound design is the possibility of
creating sound universes from real sounds, by going in search of original sound
sources to be processed and reworked on for use in a different fictional context.
